We learn A LOT from the kids we meet. This weekend, when we asked a group of storytime attendees in Brooklyn to draw what they would look like if they were a pair of socks...and they didn't have to match. We learned from this little mischief maker that she featured the sun and the moon of herself....WOW. It seemed obvious to her that she'd have one sock for day and one sock for night...We left inspired. Sometimes embracing inclusivity begins by being more inclusive with yourself and your own experiences. It's recognizing the rockstar, kind human being you are and also giving yourself a break for the times you don't do things perfectly. This Valentine's Day, give yourself a chance to love every part of yourself xo Mischief
